Home / About Your Mediator / What Does It Cost

We offer a pay-as-you-go process, no retainer. This allows you to have control over when you incur costs as well as the timing for your process. When you decide to mediate, we accept a small deposit to be applied to work completed. You reduce your costs and your time and stress because you are meeting together with one mediator rather than two separate attorneys.

Research shows that Mediation takes a fraction of the time, often costing one-fourth or less of the price of two attorneys in litigation, and results in agreements that you are able to work with and keep. This helps you avoid the additional costs of ongoing litigation that may be caused by unclear agreements after the divorce is finalized. There can be dramatic total savings of money, time and emotional damage to your entire family.
